Life expectancy for the Maintenance Kit is 30,000 drum cycles for the extended Maintenance kit and 10,000 drum cycles for the starter Maintenance Kit. The serial number on the Maintenance roller will begin with either E or S to indicate which type of kit it is. Also note that 2-sided (duplex) printing uses two cycles (even if the image is only on one side of the page). Maintenance Kit life is not affected by print quality mode or ink coverage.
